About me

I am a registered clinical psychologist living in and operating out of Auckland, New Zealand.

My commitment is to provide friendly and professional support and to develop a caring, respectful, and collaborative therapeutic relationship with my clients.

Services

Psychological Assessment and Therapy

My services include psychological assessment, individual therapy for young people (aged 13+) and adults, support for parents and other important whanau members, consultation to clinical services, governmental agencies and schools, and professional supervision. 


My therapy approach is informed by effective, evidence-based treatments, including Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), and Systemic Family Therapy.

I work with people who experience a wide range of difficulties and challenging situations, including:

  • Gender Identity support and assessments for gender-affirming healthcare

In addition to the above, please feel free to contact me to talk through any concerns or difficulties you are experiencing. Together we can figure out which problems you would most like help with at this time.


The number of therapy sessions needed will depend on the difficulties to be addressed and on your personal goals. A treatment plan will be developed and discussed with you following the initial assessment appointment, and progress towards your therapy and individual goals will be reviewed together regularly. 

Availability & Fees

Hours

Tuesdays, Wednesdays & Thursdays - face-to-face, by appointment only.
Mondays and Fridays - telehealth appointments only (e.g., via Zoom) are available.

Fees & Payment

Payment Terms

Appointments are 50 minutes and the fee is $265 (GST inclusive). Where a longer appointment is needed, eg for an initial consultation or psychological assessment, the fee is charged at $265/hour or part thereof. Letters and reports are charged at $265/hour, with a minimum charge of $132.50

 

Payment in full is due on the day of the appointment - payable by cash or direct debit.

Some health insurance organisations may assist with funding for consultations with Registered Psychologists, so please check with your insurer. 

Cancellations & Missed Appointments

Cancellation Policy

Appointments that missed or cancelled for any reason with less than 24 hours’ notice will be charged the full fee. This is because there is insufficient time to offer the appointment to another client who may be on a waitlist.  The time you don’t use can be offered to someone else who needs it.
